Nano-Shield achieves 98% particle collection efficiency at 0.075 microns based on independent laboratory testing. Micro-Shield is an FDA authorized face covering mask. Micro-Shield has been authorized by FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for use by the general public and health care personnel (HCP) as source control to help prevent the spread of infection or illness during the COVID-19 pandemic. How is the various sizing determined? Are there specific measurement that define XS, S, M, L and XL?
The size was determined using models with varying face dimensions. Also, we benchmarked against other masks to determine our sizes.
Extra-small (XS): should be appropriate for kids
Small (S): 4.7 inches x 5.1 inches (should fit 94% women)
Medium (M): 4.9 inches x 5.3 inches (fits person up to 6'2" and 200 lbs)
Large (L): 5.1 inches x 5.5 inches (good for person greater than 6'2" and 200 lbs)
Nano-Shield98 and Micro-Shield have an adjustable strap to control the fit and tightness as well.
Color choices for the mask
What are the color options available for masks for bulk orders?
We have a large number of possible colors to choose from. Black, blue and green are definitely possible. Black is the best color if you want fastest delivery because black is most available from textile mills. We can also dye fabric.
What is the mask material made of?
The mask material is made of proprietary space-age, polyfiber material. Both Micro-Shield Pro and Nano-Shield98 material contain technologies like silver ions for extra protection, ceramic powder for UV protection, and unique cross section for fast-drying.
